About Me

Have you ever had such a high level of interest in something that it becomes a passion? You know, something like cooking, traveling, collecting parking tickets? Well, many years ago, inspired by the first great photographer we ever knew, our Dad, my brother Rey and I developed an interest in photography.

I started out with a hand-me-down Brownie and then graduated to Instamatics, APS, rangefinders, SLR's, and even the occasional Polaroid. Rey converted our parents' basement to a darkroom where strange and magical things happened. He also developed pictures there. I had one of the first digital cameras, which was insanely expensive and was almost as good as an Instamatic - now that's progress.

Over the years my love for the hobby has grown, and I am always trying to improve my skills. I read and occasionally write about photography, and sometimes I even take pictures! The fact is, I'm no expert - there are many people who know much more than I, but I enjoy this hobby as much as anyone. I hope you'll join me and we can learn and grow our skills together.
